Do I need a picture on my resume?

No, it's generally not necessary to include a picture in your CV, and in fact, we at VARM suggest avoiding it in order to minimize the risk of unconscious bias. Instead, focus on highlighting your qualifications, skills, and experience relevant to the job you're applying for.

What the the different stages of your application?

In summary there are four stages of your interview process. After you have applied, they are as follows:

How long will it take until I hear back from you?

We aim at getting back to you within 48 hours after having the interview. In some cases, it might take longer. Be sure that we are always trying to respond as quickly as possible. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have other ongoing applications with different companies or want to follow-up yourself.

Is VARM offering mobile working?

Flexibility is king and you can work from home or also in a remote setup from time to time. We generally have a hybrid setup, but no full-remote roles.

We hire and train blue-collar workers as insulation installers, bringing them onto our payroll. Top performers can later launch their own VARM-branded business with our business-in-a-box solution. Long-term, this positions us as a platform business—think Uber for insulation (though we prefer to do things our way 😉).

Online-application

We believe that connecting shouldn’t be complicated. That’s why all we need is your current resume along with answers to three quick questions. No certificates or cover letter required. Just fill in a few brief fields so we can reach you – and you’re done!

Screening

We’ll carefully review your application – which takes us a few days. After that, you’ll hear back from us.

Connection Calls

We’re intrigued by your application and want to get to know you better. In a 60-minute video call, we’ll chat to see if we’re heading in the right direction on both side. This can be one or two calls with individuals of our organization.

On-Site Interview

Our initial conversation has shown that we might be a great match. Now, we’d love to meet you in person at our headquarters in Berlin. We’ll invite you over and ask you to work on an assignment that you’ll present to us. This is where we dive into the details and you get to meet the reydees you’d be working with.
